Entreprenuership in Technology
Entrepreneurship - another word for entrepreneurial spirit or start-up culture - is an important element of the innovation culture at FH Technikum Wien. Our vision is that teaching, research and innovation together form an inseparable cycle from which new ideas, business models and solutions emerge that successfully establish themselves on the market and make the world a little bit better! Entrepreneurship means a mindset, a basic attitude of how to approach things - and entrepreneurship is not a question of genes. "Entrepreneurship can be learned", as the economist P.F. Drucker said. This is why more and more entrepreneurship knowledge is being incorporated into the curricula of our degree programs, thus increasing the employability of our students and preparing them for the demands of the markets.
A brief overview of the successes of our start-ups: ToolSense was the first start-up in the FH Technikum Wien mentoring program, myBioma is the second start-up in the FHTW university incubator, and Mobilytics has also been represented since 2019.
