The Institute for International Management and Entrepreneurship offers a wide range of programs: The Master's program in Digital Entrepreneurship - for founding/rethinking your own digital business and for digital transformation in established companies; the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Austria - surveying the domestic start-up ecosystem; and practice-oriented research projects with universities, start-ups and established companies.
Master's degree program in Digital Entrepreneurship
New business ideas and digital technologies for start-ups and established companies. The multidisciplinary degree program lays the foundation for successfully founding a company yourself or working as an innovator in established companies. The focus is on developing an entrepreneurial mindset, acquiring the latest technology know-how and strengthening skills in the area of corporate entrepreneurship. In project and team work, students work on their own start-ups or the digital reorientation of existing companies.
Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Austria
The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) is the world's largest comparative entrepreneurship study. FH JOANNEUM has regularly conducted the survey for Austria since 2012. Key indicators on entrepreneurial activity, motives, opportunities, ecosystem and demographics are analyzed across the various start-up phases and recommendations for action are derived. The GEM results are aimed at the general public, political decision-makers and, in particular, researchers and partner institutions.
Research on innovation & entrepreneurship
Digital Entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship Education. Edupreneurship. Corporate Entrepreneurship. Intrapreneurship. New work. Entrepreneurial Ecosystems. Open Innovation. Research on all of these topics is currently being conducted in various projects together with global companies as well as start-ups, local authorities and (international) universities - mostly co-financed by the European Union. This results in good practice catalogs, research reports, micro-credentials, MOOCs, open learning repositories, etc., which are freely available for use by the various target groups.
